Third Sector Resilience Fund
As part of the Scottish Government Response to the Coronavirus crisis, £20m has been allocated to the new ‘Third Sector Resilience Fund’. This fund is live today 25th March 2020.
The Third Sector Resilience Fund will provide grants of between £5,000 and £100,000 to eligible charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations that are playing a ‘key role’ in the national response to Coronavirus. To be eligible you must be:
• a charity, social enterprise or voluntary organisation based in Scotland and/or primarily delivering services/activities in Scottish communities;
• already delivering those products or services prior to March 2020;
• and needing funding to stabilise cashflows directly as a result of the impact of COVID-19, as opposed to pre-existing financial difficulties
An additional £5m of government funds will provide flexible loans through the scheme.
If you feel that you may be eligible please visit the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations at the following link Third Sector Resilience Fund to determine your eligibility and for direction to the appropriate application forms.
